STW: Classroom AV Support Technician (Dubois Center)

Center at UNC Charlotte Center City. As a Classroom AV Technician, the selected candidate will be responsible for the support of AV (audio and video) systems in the University classrooms, conference rooms, and labs.

This position's primary purpose is to support faculty and staff using university computing and AV systems. This is achieved by assisting faculty and staff with technical issues via the classroom intercoms, phone calls, and face-to-face requests. The Classroom Support Team utilizes a helpdesk ticketing system (Cherwell) to track support requests and resolutions.

This position requires some physical work, including the use of power/hand tools, operating a motor vehicle, and the use of ladders.

Work Schedule: 11 hours per week at the Dubois Center from the coverage hours listed below, with opportunities to pick up additional hours:

Mondays: 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Wednesdays: 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM
