Job Description
The Marketing Database Intern will play a key role in enhancing our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring it effectively supports donor engagement and organizational growth. This hands-on experience will provide valuable exposure to database management, automation, and nonprofit operations while working closely with board members, staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with board members and specialists to identify necessary CRM fields and data structures.
Configure and categorize fields within the CRM to optimize donor tracking and engagement.
Consolidate, input and organize donor information into the database with accuracy and efficiency.
Assist in automating data integration between the CRM and accounting software, website, and email platforms.
Skills Needed
Highly motivated to succeed with a can-do attitude.
Work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of project and seeing it through to completion.
Strong attention to detail and organizational and communication skills.
Have a knack for grasping new technologies and software quickly.
Ability to analyze and structure data logically.
Basic understanding of database management and CRM systems (experience preferred but not required).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with automation tools is a plus.

Hours and Location
This hybrid internship offers 30-35 hours per week for 8-10 weeks, with flexible scheduling. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, though some meetings may fall outside this window to accommodate volunteers. The intern will attend training and check-ins at CCEF’s Concord office located at 120 Marsh Ave NW or nearby locations. Work hours and location are flexible for individual work tasks.
