The Military & Veteran Services (MVS) supports Charlotte’s founding commitment to military‑affiliated students by delivering innovative programs, streamlined VA benefit processes, and holistic guidance grounded in the Charlotte Model. As campus liaisons and connectors, we remove barriers, cultivate partnerships, and empower students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally to build a supportive campus environment where students thrive.

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support MVS outreach initiatives by helping plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshops, presentations, and educational programming to promote student success, resource awareness, and community building among military-affiliated students. 
• Collaborate with campus partners (e.g., academic advising, housing, counseling, student conduct) to coordinate holistic support for students
• Contribute to data tracking, reporting, and evaluation efforts to inform program effectiveness and continuous improvement
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the office as needed
• Support the development and execution of social media campaigns that highlight MVS programs, services, and student stories
• Assist with other duties as assigned
