Health Quality and Stars (HQS) is an organization that is responsible for improving health outcomes and advancing the care experience of our members and provider partners through quality solutions. The HQS Director, Program Delivery will provide leadership for program management & process improvement in support of our Stars organization. The Director will play a pivotal leadership role in establishing, organizing, and overseeing a newly established team dedicated to driving strategic program initiatives and robust process documentation practices. Additionally, the Director will lead high-profile and priority projects, guiding a team of 5-7 Program and Process Delivery associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive intake process for program and project requests, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and resource availability.

Establish portfolio management practices, including tracking, reporting, and ongoing prioritization of initiatives to maximize impact and efficiency.

Lead high-profile, cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and achievement of defined objectives.

Oversee and enhance process documentation standards, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across all team outputs.

Lead and develop a team of Program and Process Delivery associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and strategic alignment.

Monitor and report on key program metrics and performance indicators, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
8 or more years of program delivery, project management and/or process improvement
-
3 years or more of management experience
-
Experience managing large scale projects/initiatives in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to manage stakeholders and hold them accountable for deliverables
-
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and navigate competing priorities
-
High level of business acumen
-
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office XP products (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications
-
Master's Degree
-
Knowledge and/or experience within the Stars Organization, Risk Adjustment and/or Provider
-
PMP or CAPM Certification
-
Lean or Six Sigma certification
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$150,000 - $206,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
