Charlotte Montessori is looking for a person who is passionate about working with children to join our amazing team. Just minutes from uptown, nestled in the Dilworth neighborhood, our school is home to almost 200 children, ages 15 months - 6 years and 36 wonderful staff members. We are excited to welcome a new team member to support our teachers, and contribute to our classrooms.

As Coordinator, the ability to adapt to each teacher’s classroom needs is an important as well as flexibility for the various needs of the school each day. As part of a Montessori school, we are looking for an individual with an interest in the philosophy and one who is open to learning how to support our established classrooms and trained teachers.

The schedule of the Classroom Coordinator is predetermined to support lead teachers for the first part of the day, and for extended day program, it is to assist the assistant teachers who are leading the program and possibly leading it yourself when the need arrives. A classroom coordinator could also potentially serve as a substitute for the full day.

The position is full time 10:30 - 5:30 - Monday through Friday
