Co-Op Opportunity:

We are looking for outgoing and driven students who want to apply their education within Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related courses, to real life experiences. At Sevan, you will be part of a team that is dynamic and fast paced, supporting a variety of client projects in multi-site construction. You will have the opportunity to see and be involved in the construction of commercial projects from start to finish in the retail, restaurant, gas station, grocery store sectors.

We are looking for co-op students for the Spring or Summer 2025 to join our RCBIM team. Sevan utilizes innovative reality capture and Building Information Modeling (BIM) services to provide precise detail and provide superior planning, architecture, and engineering services across all project locations. This is a remote based internship with required travel (50-70%) around the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• This position is remote and field based and requires 50% -70% travel around the US.

• Conduct site surveys that utilize Sevan-s Asset Assessment technology

• Utilize survey measuring tools (laser, tape, etc.) to gather, verify and document dimensions accurately

• Assist in collecting existing conditions data from building sites and provide photographic documentation

• Assist in creating as-built drawings including building floor plan, elevations, RCP, roof plan, site plan in AutoCAD (experience required), REVIT (experience preferred)

• Assist in creating virtual tours using technologies such as Panatour, Cloudberry, Amazon cloud storage and other related applications (experience preferred, but not required)

• Assist in preparing and delivering survey reports in accordance with company & client requirements

• Comfortability with communications skills, working directly with Clients and Department Leadership

• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries

• Able to work on your feet indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions.

• Able to climb a building roof ladder

Qualifications - Education, Skills, and Abilities

• In progress: 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent

• Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team including management, project management, clients, client-s organization, contractors, and vendors

• Must be flexible, adaptable and able to work with fluid schedules and working conditions

• Must maintain a professional appearance and interact with on-site customers in a courteous and professional manner

• Ability to prioritize and handle diverse workload

• Willing to dive in, proactively ask for new things you can help with, desire to learn and ambition to excel

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to tolerate ambiguity and be able to work effectively within a diverse workplace

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a changing work environment

• Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
