Description:

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, personnel, and managing the receiving, handling, storing, picking, checking, and packing of finished products to ensure standard operating procedures are followed and quality standards are met or exceeded.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

· Ensures the logistics team is able to operate at peak efficiency resulting in internal and external customer satisfaction

· Supervises, trains, and organizes logistics employees and activities

· Evaluates product handling, storage requirements, inventory, and shipping methods and develops improvement processes that drive efficiency and productivity

· Resolves day-to-day operational issues

· Reviews staffing requirements, workflows, space allocations, equipment needs, and action plans that meet company standards for quality, customer service, and productivity

· Conducts regular check-ins with warehouse team to review productivity, concerns, areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to drive enhancements in the operations

· Helps ensure all system transactions are accurate and completed on time

· Maintains a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements

· 3-5 years of warehouse management experience

· Mentoring and team building capabilities

· Strong problem solving skills

· Strong communication skills and high degree of customer service

· Ability to deliver feedback, both written and verbal

· Ability to work with other leaders and departments

· Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge
