The Role at a Glance
We are excited for a Full - Stack Engineering intern to join our Partner Data Enablement - Outbound Team within the Workplace Solutions IT organization.
Background Information:
Our mission is to deliver standard reports and custom file integrations for Large and National clients to provide their HR organizations with critical data. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing agile team and gain hands-on experience supporting business-critical system, BIRST, while contributing to our department’s exciting modernization journey.

What you'll be doing
- Assist in maintaining our current Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS), with a focus on understanding business logic implemented in SQL stored procedures.
- Participate in requirements gathering and documentation to support future modernization efforts.
- Contribute to the development of internal-facing web UIs using modern frameworks and tools.
- Develop and support backend services written in Java and Python.
- Gain exposure to cloud-native development as we migrate services and data to AWS.
What we’re looking for
- College Junior or Rising Senior
- Must have availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between the dates of June 1, 2025 – August 7, 2025
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to or interest in web development (React, JavaScript), backend development (Java, Python), and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, especially around translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow in a hybrid legacy-modern tech environment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset

The pay range for this position is $19 to $22 an hour with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
