Applicants must have previously served as a 2026 Orientation Counselor.
The Orientation Intern is a member of the New Student Orientation (NSO) Leadership Team. The NSO Leadership Team is committed to providing an exceptional orientation experience to incoming first-year students, transfer students, and parents/family members and guests throughout all NSO sessions during the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The Interns assist in the supervision of the Orientation Counselor staff and support the Senior Assistant Director of Orientation Programs. Interns will be selected for the 2026 - 2027 academic year and work between 15 - 18 hours/week in the fall and spring semesters with an hourly rate of $11.00 and up to 40 hours per week throughout all NSO training and sessions in the summer with a stipend of $5,200.
A prime focus of the position is working collaboratively with the other Interns to provide direct leadership and support to the Orientation Counselor staff. Successful candidates exemplify the Enrollment Programs & Communications.
