Are you ready to jump‑start your sales career with a company that’s energetic, supportive, and growth‑focused? We are hiring motivated Sales Associates to join our Annuity Sales Desk—your launchpad into a fast‑paced internal wholesaling career.
You’ll begin in our 6‑week Sales Launch Training Program, learning annuity fundamentals, product positioning, and advanced sales techniques while preparing for your Series 6 and 63 licenses. Once licensed, you’ll become a go‑to resource for financial professionals, answering product questions, supporting sales conversations, and helping advisors do business seamlessly with Equitable.
As you develop, you’ll build strong partnerships with Regional Vice Presidents and position yourself for potential promotion into a Regional Sales Associate (RSA) role. If you’re competitive, relationship‑driven, and excited to grow in financial sales, this is your opportunity!
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on–site presence of 2–3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Join our Sales Launch Training Program where you’ll spend 6 weeks learning variable annuities, sales strategies, objection handling, and the fundamentals of product positioning.
- Earn your Series 6 and Series 63 licenses with dedicated study time, training support, and exam preparation resources.
- Provide inbound sales desk support, answering questions from financial professionals about products, sales concepts, marketing materials, and positioning strategies.
- Serve as a trusted resource, educating advisors on how easy it is to do business with Equitable and delivering a best‑in‑class service experience.
- Act as a liaison between our home office and Regional Vice Presidents, helping to coordinate strategy, share insights, and strengthen relationships.
- Manage a strong sales pipeline, identifying opportunities within assigned territories and tracking progress to maximize revenue potential.
- Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents to build tailored business plans that support territory growth and drive sales results.
- Demonstrate drive, energy, and enthusiasm, showing up ready to learn, compete, and grow in a career path that leads to internal wholesaling and beyond.
The base salary range for this position is $50,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
- Must have Series 6 and 63 licenses or be willing to obtain within 180 days of start date
• Must have Resident Life and Variable Insurance Licenses or be willing to obtain within 180 days of start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial or investment management industry is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a challenging and collaborative environment
• Ability to pay attention to detail and multi-task
• 1+ Years of experience in sales/marketing is preferred but not required
• High-level of computer proficiency
• A coachable demeanor and positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team
• Demonstrated success in negotiation, persuasion, and solutions-based selling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of professionals
Skills
Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality.
Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.
Listening: Knowledge of effective listening issues and techniques; ability to gather, clarify, and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
