Assist greenhouse staff with growing orchids. Watering, fertilizing, repotting, propagation, applying appropriate pesticides. Continual assessing of health of collection and taking steps to improve. Purchasing new orchids to add to collection as approved by supervisor. Submitting requests for supplies needed. Greet and answer questions by guests as needed. Attendance at annual orchid plant sale in February.
