Launch Program, Supply Chain Associate

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Launch Program, Supply Chain Associate, is responsible for working within MSC’s Supply Chain Support, Engineering, and Logistics functions to perform a wide range of tasks to deliver superior customer experience to MSC customers. This position will be a rotational assignment to help develop skills and gain exposure across each of these functions. This associate will apply knowledge acquired in college, as well as gain the skills and experience necessary to prepare the associate for a more diverse career at MSC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively work with associates and management at various locations to perform some or all of the following:

• Plan, execute, and complete projects as assigned.

• Provide business assistance to various groups within the Supply Chain Support, Engineering, and Logistics departments.

• Collaborate with Business, Operations, and IT team associates to develop presentations.

• Design and execute analyses with summary reports for management consumption to guide decisions and drive profitability.

• Assist with tracking and reporting.

• Perform independent research.

• Perform other responsibilities within the areas of Supply Chain operations as part of the rotational assignment.

• Embody the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.

• Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
