Description:
The Environmental Health & Safety Intern will assist with environmental health and safety (EH&S) duties at a manufacturing site. The Intern will work directly with EH&S Department to plan and conduct activities designed to support the site's environmental health and safety programs, and lower EH&S risks and support a strong EH&S culture. Key projects will be discussed and agreed upon at the start of the internship and will include implementing EH&S program and process changes. The Intern may conduct and/or participate in EH&S audits to identify program gaps and evaluate risks. At the end of the internship interns will present on their work to the facility leadership.

Requirements:

Junior level (or higher) undergraduate in Occupational Safety and Health and/or Environmental Science/Engineering

Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-August 2025) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.

The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
