Job Description
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports associated with the Office of Financial Aid, involving but not limited to awarding, residency, unusual enrollment, and semester enrollment
- Support the review and processing of daily, weekly, and monthly reports associated with all state funding, involving but not limited to State of North Carolina Grants, Loans, and Scholarships
- Run and monitor ISIR dataload processing and associated federal aid processing activities.
- Analyze and resolve suspense records, discrepancy records, conflicting information, comment codes, and C-flags.
- Process FAFSA corrections and monitor correction results to ensure accurate federal aid eligibility.
- Run and monitor Transfer Monitoring and Financial Aid History (FAH) processes and resolve resulting eligibility issues.
- Research, interpret, and apply federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations.
- Offer guidance to students, parents, staff, and campus partners regarding financial aid policies and procedures through individual meetings and outreach.
- Support student success by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial aid processing.
- Collaborate with campus and outside partners, including the Registrar’s Office, Student Services, Niner Central, University Communications, IT, Graduate School, NCSEAA, CFNC, and other state agencies.
