Architect Internship for Summer 2024 within the Stanley Martin Architecture Department

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create elevation kit of parts in Microsoft Publisher

  • Create strip elevation designs in Blue Beam

  • Create SFD street scape designs in Blue Beam

  • Create graphics for Design Standards

  • Create 2D Photoshop Renderings

  • Format floor plans for Design Committee

  • Review option names/numbering

  • Research proposed new plan names

  • Complete new elevation design sketches

  • Rework sections of floor plan designs

  • Complete all other duties as assigned by manager

  • Represent the company professionally in all internal and external interactions and communications

  • Adhere to safety standards and help promote a safe working environment.

  • Adhere to and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Stanley Martin Companies

Position Standards:

  • Team Player

  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, Auto Cad and Revit

  • Organizational Skills

  • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal)

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Junior or Senior status, pursuing a degree in Architecture

  • Specific desire to obtain experience with Residential projects
