The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Web Application Developer Intern to our Financial Wellness IT team.
Background Details
As a team member, you will maintain and enhance Lincoln’s Financial Wellness marketplace and educational platform.
You will assist in full stack web application development. You will start with operations automation, then branch out to other areas of our technology stack, including user interface development, backend system development, and/or cloud infrastructure provisioning.
What you'll be doing
- Leverage Python, Docker, and GitLab pipelines to automate day to day operations (code quality checks, test data management, etc.)
- Develop Financial Wellness user interface with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS
- Develop Financial Wellness server applications with Python, Flask, Java, Spring WebFlux
- Provision cloud infrastructure with various AWS services, including CloudFormation, ECS, S3, RDS
- Participate in team cadence meetings, such as standup, backlog refinement, coding dojos
What we’re looking for
- Experience with full stack web application development, especially with Angular, Flask, Spring WebFlux
- Experience with Docker, code pipelines
- Experience with AWS services, especially CloudFormation, ECS, S3, VPC, EC2, IAM
- Rising Junior or Senior
