As a Cybersecurity Intern here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our cybersecurity initiatives. As an intern in Honeywell Global Security’s Neurodiverse Intern Program you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop valuable skills, and grow both personally and professionally. This internship isn’t just about your development—it’s about creating a program that enables neurodiverse talent to thrive for years to come. You’ll play a key role in building an inclusive environment, where innovation and inclusion drive success.

Responsibilities

In this role, you may have the opportunity to:

• Find software vulnerabilities in applications, products, and online services.
• Monitor security logs and alerts to support the team in responding to potential threats and/or incidents
• Develop software focused on protecting from attacks or detecting potential malicious activity.
• Support the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and technical controls
• Participate in projects that explore new security technologies and solutions
• Help organize and deliver security awareness and training initiatives for Honeywell employees globally
• Aid in preparing reports, summaries, and alerts related to security concerns or ongoing projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document requirements, test new systems, and contribute ideas for improving security architecture
• Research emerging threats, evaluate innovative tools, and suggest improvements to existing processes
• Create educational materials, presenting security concepts, and promoting best practices across the organization
• Communicate findings from risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response activities to technical and non-technical audiences
• Analyze suspicious activity, document response actions, and evaluate lessons from real-world scenarios to strengthen Honeywell’s security posture

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow in the field
• Must graduate before May 2028
