Locations: Chicago, Salisbury

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from January 20, 2026 through June 5, 2026. Department/Position Description:
The Data Science – Advanced Analytics team supports the Ahold Delhaize brand and digital teams, as well as other end users, by completing advanced projects, providing models, and creating segmentations.  They also act as the Subject Matter Experts for forecasting and optimization projects. The co-op will work with experienced data scientists to assess existing customer segmentations and identify opportunities for enhancements.  This could include adding features to the segmentation, fine-tuning the underlying models, or optimizing the code for better performance.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in Data or Computer Science
- Python Programming
- PySpark is a plus
- Familiarity with Statistical Methods
- Familiarity with Machine Learning  
- Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills   
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively 
Individual cohort pay rates vary based on location, academic year, and position.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $20.90 - $35.70
IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $22.80 - $37.30
