Marketing & Community Outreach Assistant (Part-Time)

About Us

MutualPros is building a new app that helps homeowners find trusted home service professionals through people they know. We're an early-stage startup looking for an energetic, self-motivated student who enjoys marketing, meeting people, and helping grow a new product.

What You'll Do

• Promote the app through social media and local community groups.
• Reach out to real estate agents, homeowner associations, and local businesses.
• Attend community events and help introduce the app to homeowners.
• Help drive app installs and collect feedback from users.
• Assist with simple marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
• Share ideas to improve user engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable talking with people in person, over the phone, and online.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn.
• Self-starter who enjoys working independently.
• Interest in marketing, entrepreneurship, startups, or business is a plus.

Hours & Pay

• Part-time: Approximately 10 hours per week.
• $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.
• Initial two-week trial period, with the opportunity to continue based on performance and business needs.

Supervision & Work Arrangement: This is a virtual position with structured supervision. The student will receive onboarding and training during the first week, followed by clear weekly goals and assignments. We will communicate regularly through email, phone, and Google Meet or Zoom, with a scheduled weekly check-in to review progress, answer questions, and provide feedback. The supervisor will be available throughout the week for guidance and support. If an in-person meeting is ever needed, it will take place in a public location (such as a coffee shop, coworking space, or university-approved public meeting area). Students will never be asked to meet at a personal residence.
