Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping children and adolescents navigate mental health and substance use challenges? At Monarch NC, we provide trauma-informed, person-centered care to individuals of all ages—and we’re looking for a dedicated RN to join our Behavioral Health Crisis Team in Concord and Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates can live in either city.
Work Schedule:
- Week 1: Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am
- Week 2: Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am
**Anticipated Start Date: 6/1/2026**
What You’ll Do
As a Child Crisis Behavioral Health RN, you will:
- Provide direct nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis
- Oversee paraprofessionals and ensure safe, effective service delivery
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor responses
- Conduct nursing assessments and support treatment planning
- Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies with calm, compassionate expertise
- Coordinate care and referrals for emergency medical treatment when needed
- Follow detoxification protocols and assist with crisis and aftercare planning
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (minimum requirement)
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- 1+ year of experience in a crisis management setting
- 1+ year of experience working with children, youth, or adolescents in a behavioral health crisis setting
- Working knowledge of psychiatric medications and trauma-informed care
