Job Description

Palmetto State Arts Education (PSAE) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist the Executive Director in designing, recruiting for, and implementing four complex professional development programs in collaboration with the SC Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of professional development programs.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for participants across South Carolina.
  • Manage logistics for program delivery and scheduling.
  • Contribute to grant reporting, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Support marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and targeted email communications.
  • Create simple graphic design materials for program promotion.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on various administrative and operational tasks.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
  • Interest in arts education, professional development, or nonprofit management.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with flexible hours.
