Position Overview:  

The Accounting Intern will assist the Corporate Accounting team with ad hoc analyses, month-end analyses, SEC reporting filings and Consolidation Process. 

Location: Charlotte, NC 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Assist with the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses. 

• Assist the consolidation team with CMCO’s worldwide financial statement consolidation. 

• Participate in the monthly close process including: performing balance sheet account reconciliation reviews and investigating any discrepancies. 

• Assist with monthly journal entries and perform true ups for accounts. 

• Assist with the monthly lease accounting maintenance and analysis. 
• Supporting the Accounting department with various ad-hoc projects 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:  

• Basic Microsoft Excel skills. 

• Intellectually curious to learn new finance concepts and hone excel skills. 

• Reasoning abilities and analytical thinking. 

• Self-Starter, ability to function independently without close management. 

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral. 

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills. 

Required Qualifications:  

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or business. 

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role. 

• Must be able to work full time from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
