Job Description
Position Overview
To provide project- based learning and real-world experience to rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior and Graduate students. This cohort experience will provide opportunities to enhance professionalism, train cross-functionally and receive mentorship from a designated resource within the assigned branch.
This is a paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2024 semester. The internship program is designed to be a pipeline for identifying early talent with the goal of converting interns into a part time or full time role at SECU.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assigned project-based research and presentation to be shared with leadership at the conclusion of the program.
- Collaborates effectively and professionally with branch coworkers and departments across the organization to aid in research and development of project.
- Accountable for understanding SECU products and services and providing recommendations to membership based on their needs.
- Obtains entry-level exposure to branch services and operations.
- Performs administrative duties such as greeting members, answering phones, filing paperwork, and performing other clerical duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates exemplary customer service through interactions with membership.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Currently enrolled full-time at a US – NC based accredited university/college.
- Must commit to a 10 – 12 week internship program.
- Must commit to at least 10 hours per week.
- GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Authorized to work in the Unites States without Sponsorship now or in the future or without receiving CPT/OPT through university/college.
- Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student.
