Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping children and adolescents navigate mental health and substance use challenges? At Monarch NC, we provide trauma-informed, person-centered care to individuals of all ages—and we’re looking for a dedicated RN to join our Behavioral Health Crisis Team in Charlotte.

What You’ll Do

As a Pediatric Behavioral Health RN, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to children and adolescents in crisis
• Oversee paraprofessionals and ensure safe, effective service delivery
• Administer psychiatric medications and monitor responses
• Conduct nursing assessments and support treatment planning
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies with calm, compassionate expertise
• Coordinate care and referrals for emergency medical treatment when needed
• Follow detoxification protocols and assist with crisis and aftercare planning

What You Bring

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (minimum requirement)
• Active RN license in North Carolina
• 1+ year of experience in a crisis management setting
• 1+ year of experience working with children, youth, or adolescents in a behavioral health crisis setting
• Working knowledge of psychiatric medications and trauma-informed care
