J. C. Steele & Sons has an opening for a Mechanical Engineering Intern.  This position will be compensated and will be for a 3-4 month duration, summer months preferred but we will also allow for a flexible schedule. 

Summary:  The mechanical engineering intern will work with our Engineering team and will gain experience and knowledge on the designs and production of mechanical equipment.  This position will work in an office and manufacturing environment.  

Qualifications include:

·         Mechanical engineering educational experience required

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to document information in an effective manner. 

·         Basic knowledge of any 3D CAD software

·         Proficient with Office Tools and Strong Excel User

·         Strong organizational and time management skills

·         Good communication skills, self-motivated, hands-on practical approach to work

 Education Required:

·         Student pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering as a rising Junior/Senior level
