Location: South Charlotte

Required availability: 1:30PM - 4PM on Mon, Wed, Fri.

Responsibilities

• Be a super ultra awesome STEM coach for kids in elementary, middle, high school. Should be comfortable teaching Virtually and in-person.
• Teach various Coding platforms: Scratch, Web Design, JavaScript.
• Encourage students to THINK in different ways, TRY HARD even if they fail.
• Draw out individual creativity from each student.
• Initial requirement 4 - 6 hours a week.
• Teach Math Problem Solving to students in elementary and middle grades.

You bring the following to the table:

• A drive to learn new concepts.
• Great with kids.
• Skilled at keeping a group focused on task.
• High energy individual who will be respected and looked up to by kids in Grades 1 - 8.
• Strong sense of humor
• Students currently pursuing an undergrad or masters are welcome to apply.

Prior experience in Coding is preferred but NOT required. Many of our Coding teachers are Niners with no prior coding experience.

Pay: $20 - $30/hour
