Job Description

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalency, and two years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience required.
  • Two years’ administrative support experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the English language (reading, writing, interpretation and comprehension) required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Effective skills in verbal, written and interpersonal communications.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Knowledge and skill with Google Chrome, Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new programs.
  • Purchasing Software Experience
  • Ability to effectively work/interact with persons from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to foster and create an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Front desk reception (answer phones, answer AVC email, handle incoming and outgoing mail, respond to walk ins)
  • Purchasing for FM AVC Office (office supplies, catering invoice, etc.)
  • Travel planning, logistics, and approvals AVC team and directors
  • Space and Conference room reservations for AVC team
