Job Description
As the Web Design Intern, you will work closely with our Lead Digital Media Designer and other team members to assist in the creation and maintenance of websites. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of web design, including layout, typography, color theory, and user experience (UX) design.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing web pages and interfaces.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
- Support the team in maintaining and updating existing web designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Conduct research on design trends and best practices.
- Help with the creation of graphics and other visual elements for web projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- General understanding of Wordpress and content management systems
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work is a plus.
