Founded in 1969, Arts+ is a music and visual art nonprofit organization that envisions the transformative impact of arts education illuminating every corner of the Charlotte region. Its goal is to make outstanding arts education available to students of all ages, skill levels, and socioeconomic backgrounds. From private lessons to summer camps to community outreach programs, Arts+ strives to help each student unlock their full potential through the power of arts education.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Arts+ Administration and Programs Intern will gain hands-on experience working across multiple departments at Arts+, including programs, operations, development, and marketing. This internship offers a broad introduction to nonprofit arts administration and the opportunity to work directly with program teams supporting music and visual art education.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ï‚• Assist with program planning, preparation, and events.
ï‚• Support development efforts such as appeals, grants, and donor communications.
ï‚• Help with marketing and social media projects.
ï‚• Provide administrative support for registration, scheduling, and general operations.
ï‚• Interact with students, families, faculty, and community partners.
HOURLY COMMITMENT:
ï‚• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed. General working hours will beTuesday through Saturday with the occasional evening
