Job Description
1. Front Desk & Customer Service Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, faculty, and staff Communicate building policies and procedures, including ID requirements Respond to phone and in-person inquiries about events, departments, and campus resources Assist with lobby check-in procedures Relay concerns and information to appropriate support teams (Facilities, Police & Public Safety, Catering, etc.) 2. Event & Parking Awareness Assist our VIP parkers with validation when they enter the building Review the weekly events schedule during each shift Monitor VIP parking needs and assist with posting/removing signage Prepare early morning parking when required Note special event requests and communicate them as needed Provide occasional support to the Events Team when requested (event setup is not a primary responsibility) 3. Mail & Package Handling Log all packages and deliveries accurately Notify recipients in a timely manner Sort and distribute mail/packages to correct locations Ensure packages are not stored behind the desk and are delivered appropriately 4. Lobby Maintenance & Operations Restock supplies in shared spaces such as the lobby and student collaboration areas Wipe down desks and tables to maintain a clean, professional environment Ensure security cameras are operational Maintain ID badge inventory Monitor and manage Lost & Found items 5. Additional Duties Responsibilities may be adjusted based on operational needs or policy updates Additional Information We are hiring for a summer position, but we are also seeking candidates who are interested in continuing through the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Students do not need to be enrolled in summer courses but must have been enrolled in the Spring 2026 semester and be registered for Fall 2026.
