Position Purpose:

Directs and coordinates activities of Member Brands to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. Interacts with suppliers to ensure the mutually beneficial objectives of the company, its members and suppliers are being achieved in a profitable fashion. Works on international operations synergies, where appropriate. Solves practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interacts with Member Brands personnel, customers, suppliers and business unit corporate management. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Major Functional Responsibilities:

  • Supervise associates including but not limited to scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.

  • Directs and coordinates promotion of products manufactured, or services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in their trading area.

  • Manages and provides sales and marketing direction and education preparation to inside and outside sales force, and customer service, establishing market focus, sales strategies, goals and implementation of training programs.

  • Develops, establishes and implements new product offerings. Works with the Marketing Department to develop collateral materials Reviews and negotiates cost and selling prices of the entire AFFEX division to create a profitable pricing structure.

  • Reviews and qualifies suppliers and potential suppliers. Coordinates activities of divisions or departments to effect operational efficiency and economy.

  • Enhances existing programs and develops new agreements with suppliers that support AFFLINK's achievement of its strategic objectives. Identifies ways suppliers can better promote products and services to AFFLINK members via AFFLINK furnished resources.

  • Communicates emerging trends and any member/supplier activity that impacts our daily business conduct.

  • Mediates issue resolution where appropriate between AFFLINK members and suppliers. Negotiates dependable programs with best suppliers.

  • Maintains constant contact with sources to remain current on pricing and supply and demand issues. Secures product comparison diagnostics from suppliers to put on AFFLINK or provide to AFFLINK/member sales personnel.

  • Performs other duties as assigned
