Real Estate Development Site Research Director

Seeking individual graduating from the Childress Klein School to lead the site search for multi-family housing developments in NC and SC.  Our firm has been in the MF housing development and investment business since 1971, based in Charlotte, with an extensive track record in the industry.  The applicant should have command of a multitude of available real estate research technology for use in identifying and evaluating sites that may by suitable for development of apartments, townhomes, patio homes and potentially other innovative uses.  The individual will also frequently be in direct contact with landowners and their advisors, including commercial real estate brokers, such that strong oral and written communication skills are required. The individual will report to the President as well as have frequent contact with the Chairman/CEO and will participate in detailed site evaluation sessions as well as meetings with prospective lenders, equity investors, and property leasing and management senior personnel.  Compensation will include a base salary and benefits package (including 401k and medical insurance), plus substantial bonuses based on sites identified and acquired. Must reside in the metro Charlotte NC area. Individual will be able to work remotely much of the time if desired and/or work at the firm headquarters located in SouthPark Charlotte.
