Order Entry Specialist

Charlotte Pipe is the nation's top manufacturer of cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings. There is an open position at our Corporate Headquarters for an Order Entry Team Member. Excelling in this role lays the foundation for future career growth.

Responsibilities
• Provide great customer service with a focus on business outcomes.
• Enter data into SAP as required for order entry promptly, professionally, and accurately, consistently meeting expectations.
• Ability to release and process incoming orders.
• Support and communicate with appropriate Inside Sales Associates and Regional Managers.
• Understand and follow the entire CP&F order fulfillment process. Operate within the process consistently. Look for and identify continuous process improvement opportunities.
• Assist department management with all additional requests.
• Serve as the primary backup to the Receptionist.

Qualifications and Skills
• Use appropriate business communication, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn SAP functionality.
• Maintain positive and helpful working relationships with co-workers and other functional areas throughout the company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required.
