Senior SEC Consultant needed in the Miami FL area! This role is remote, but must be local to the Miami FL area as this person will need to go on site for occasional meetings. Must have experience filing a 10k or 10q.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements (e.g., statements of cash flows) and 1934 Act forms (10-Qs and 10-Ks) for SEC filing, including technical review and preparation of supporting documentation.

• Assist the Manager of External Financial Reporting in reviewing quarterly press releases, annual reports to shareholders, proxy statements, debt prospectus statements, and other SEC filings.

• Prepare materials for full working group and disclosure committee meetings, including timelines, request lists, and disclosure controls.

• Prepare quarterly variance analytics.

• Coordinate and prepare financial information for external and internal auditors and other internal customers.

• Ensure proper execution of SOX key controls and coordinate disclosure controls and procedures related to external financial reporting.

• Review the company's benefit plan and foreign subsidiaries' statutory financial statements for special projects and ad hoc requests from senior management.

• Handle special projects and ad hoc requests from senior management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master's) are a plus.

• Minimum of three years of related work experience, including at least two years of relevant experience.

• Experience with SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-Q forms.

• Strong financial reporting and accounting skills.

• Proficiency in XBRL.

• Experience with Workiva/Wdesk.

• Knowledge of SOX controls.

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $85.00
