Job Description

About the Role:

As a CBRE Energyand Sustainability Analyst, you will support environmental processes andcontrols needed for the client's Greenhouse Gas Inventory.

Thisposition requires a sustainability professional with a general understanding ofcarbon accounting protocols and carbon emissions, a passion for environmentalprocesses and controls, and an ability to manage large and complex data sets(primarily utility data). Ideal candidates will possess an acute attention todetail and proactively manage issues. Experience with ESG reporting frameworksand Envizi software is a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct data collection to acquire primary datafor Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emission categories.

• Maintain and improveenvironmental processes and controls to ensure integrity and accuracy of data.

• Maintain and improve processes for datacollection, aggregation, validation and reporting.

• Perform regular data quality control andvalidation checks utilizing Envizi software.

• Engage with internal and external auditors forclient's GHG inventory third-party verification.

• Maintainthe client's GHG Inventory Management Plan to reflect current data sources andmethodologies.

• Manage shifting priorities and scope.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values.

• Explain complex informationto others in a straightforward and concise manner.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CEM and/or AEE CAP preferred.

• Understanding of GHG accounting procedures and standards to solve complex problems.

• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

• A proactive,self-starter work style

• In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.

• Envise softwareknowledge preferred

• Strong organizational skillswith an inquisitive mindset.

• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $75K per year and the maximum salary for the position is or $90K per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
