Job Description

We're looking for a motivated college student to facilitate a two-week Digital Skills Stack program for justice-impacted adults. The programs run in June, August, and October of 2026y. You'll guide participants through foundational digital literacy topics — things like navigating devices, using email, creating documents, and searching the web — in a supportive, judgment-free environment. All facilitation materials and curriculum are provided; your job is to show up prepared, be approachable, and help learners build confidence with technology.

As the facilitator, you will lead daily three-hour evening sessions using a provided curriculum, break down digital concepts in plain language, support participants one-on-one as needed, and create a welcoming space where questions are encouraged.

We are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technology to beginners.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with justice-impacted populations.
  • Digital fluency across common tools (email, web browsers, word processors, video conferencing).
  • Reliability and professionalism — participants are counting on you.
  • Coursework or interest in education, criminal justice, sociology, communication, or related fields is a plus.
