Location: South Charlotte

Required availability: Morning and Afternoon - weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Be a super ultra awesome STEM coach for kids in pre-school, elementary, middle, high school. Should be comfortable teaching Virtually and in-person.
• Teach various Coding platforms: Scratch, Web Design, JavaScript.
• Teach hands on science and engineering.
• Encourage students to THINK in different ways, TRY HARD even if they fail.
• Draw out individual creativity from each student.
• Initial requirement 4 - 8 hours a week.

You bring the following to the table:

• A drive to learn new concepts.
• Great with kids.
• Skilled at keeping a group focused on task.
• High energy individual who will be respected and looked up to by kids.
• Strong sense of humor
• Students currently pursuing an undergrad or masters are welcome to apply.

Prior experience in Coding is preferred but NOT required. Many of our Coding teachers are Niners with no prior coding experience.

Pay: $20 - $40/hour
