STW: Creative Services Photography Assistant

The Student Photography Assistant will join UNC Charlotte’s Photography team (housed in University Communications), capturing campus happenings, events, engagements, and other shoots that tell the university’s story.

• Provide photographic coverage of a range of shoots, including campus events, gatherings, presentations, ceremonies, and candid student interactions
• Edit selected photos in Adobe Lightroom, ensuring consistency and quality. Deliver final JPG exports within project deadlines. Training will be provided to align with the university’s file naming and archival system.
• Assist in meta-tagging images captured by staff photographers to improve searchability and organization within the university’s photography archive.
• Work alongside staff photographers on feature photoshoots, gaining hands-on experience in professional lighting, composition, and creative direction.
