Job Description

1. Responsible for assessment of Regional Utility Plant (RUP) conditions and performing proper resolution methods.
2. Assist Advanced level technicians in the repair and installation of RUP systems, focusing on chillers and cooling towers.
3. Responsible for performing routine maintenance to ensure that RUP systems continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and/or the physical condition of RUP components does not deteriorate.
4. Use electrical test devices to troubleshoot control circuits.
5. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. UNC Charlotte
