Job Description
Hogan Construction Group is a fast paced, family owned, mid-sized Commercial General Contractor working in the Southeastern United States. We are seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team in our Atlanta Office. Candidates should be energetic, highly motivated individuals who enjoy the challenges of interesting projects.
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 (one) internship experience in Project Management for Commercial Construction.

Desire to be mentored by a Project Manager in the day to day tasks of managing construction projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal individuals and external Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.

Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions; Procore experience preferred.

Experience using Project Scheduling Software.

Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.
Duties:
-
Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.

Read and Understand Construction Plans and Specifications.

Work with the Project Management Team to complete Subcontractor and Vendor procurement by assisting with buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews, etc.

Assist in the research of resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts and errors.

Assist in the management and processing of all Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, etc.

Assist in the preparation of timely Owner Billings via the verification of work-in-place quantities/billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers.

Assist in the creation and monitoring of Project Schedules and the production of progress updates.

Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings.

Assist the Superintendent in the oversight of QA/QC Standards and Safety Requirements by actively engaging in the Jobsite progression.

Attend as a representative of Hogan Construction Group at OAC Meetings and ensure the completion of accurate meeting minutes.

Assist in the creation and completion of Punch Lists and Close Out Documents.
