The Internship
This internship is part of University Internship Program (UPIP) and offers up to 12 hours/week with a flexible schedule. You'll collaborate with the Employer Engagement + Marketing/Communications teams to create strategic, mostly student-facing content that promotes events, services, and career success stories. What You'll Do Develop original content for social media, blogs, email newsletters, video, and more Write compelling, peer-relevant stories about student success, programs, events, and opportunities Design visual assets for digital and print (social graphics, flyers, posters, etc.) Contribute to the weekly content calendar and social media strategy (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) Support live coverage of major events like career fairs and networking mixers Conduct student interviews and create content that highlights diverse voices and experiences Assist with photography and short-form video creation (Reels, TikToks, interviews, event recaps) Participate in campus tabling, outreach, and visibility efforts Help maintain inventory of marketing materials, giveaways, and branding items Provide insight and ideas on how to best reach and engage students through content

- Content creation for various social platforms, blogs, newsletters, and more with the ability to move accounts forward through audience reach, engagement, and growth - Compelling peer stories that are published to our blog and Niner Insider, with collaboration between both the Career Center and UCOMM - Creation of visual assets that follow our brand standard and push our office forward. - Insight and reflection of student voices that informs our strategy with marketing, event creation, and our overall brand. - Collaboration efforts with campus partners and student organizations that builds a bridge between our office and the overall campus community.
