Carolina Apartment Locating is seeking two creative and motivated summer interns (one in Raleigh and one in Charlotte) to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Content Creator & Manager Intern, you will work virtually to create and manage social media posts for TikTok and Instagram, ensuring content is engaging and timely. The role offers flexibility with mainly virtual work, but you will also attend occasional in-person meetings at local coffee shops or public spaces to collaborate with the team.

In addition to social media, you'll gain valuable experience in SEO/SEM, Paid Advertising, and Email Marketing while having the chance to work on up to two properties per week, creating content that highlights their unique features.

This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking hands-on experience in digital marketing while working in a flexible and collaborative virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage social media posts for Instagram and TikTok, showcasing properties and promotions.

• Work virtually in Asana to ensure content is being created and posted on time.

• Film and edit up to 2 videos per week, showcasing properties and their features to attract potential renters.

• Develop engaging captions, utilize relevant hashtags, and maintain brand consistency.

• Assist with SEO/SEM efforts using Google Analytics, optimizing content for increased traffic.

• Help manage and create Paid Advertising campaigns through Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram).

• Use Zoho’s email marketing platform to create and track email campaigns aimed at current and prospective clients.

• Attend occasional in-person meetings at local coffee shops or public spaces to collaborate with the team and discuss projects.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge and passion for social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.

• Basic video editing skills (using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, or Canva).

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram Ads).

• Knowledge of SEO/SEM practices is a plus.

• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Zoho is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working virtually.

• Ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in public places like coffee shops for collaboration.
