Graphic Design Co-op Spring 2027or Intern Summer 2027

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor is seeking a Graphic Design co-op for Spring 2027 or intern for Summer 2027. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual passionate about brand design and visual storytelling. In the role, you will:

• Develop graphics, templates, layouts, and illustrations for enterprise and/or division use across print, digital, social, and presentation formats.
• Collaborate with teams and divisions to translate stories, campaigns, and updates into compelling visual content that highlights Nucor's culture, safety, sustainability, and community impact.
• Ensure all design work aligns with Nucor's brand guidelines and design best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be working towards Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related design discipline.
• Completed coursework in design fundamentals and typography (transcript or coursework summary may be requested).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Expected graduation date no later than May 2029.
• Applicants will be required to provide portfolio.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Express.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Previous experience contributing to a brand's visual identity or design system.
