Machine Specialties, Inc. is a provider of machined components, special processing and complete assemblies to the Aerospace and Defense industries. We are currently looking for a summer Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team. Manufacturing Engineers at MSI provide Engineering support to the organization, working closely with both the End customers and the other teams at MSI.

Role Description:

Develop manufacturing plans based off customer supplied data packages. Optimize existing manufacturing plans to maximize production. Work directly with customers and suppliers to mitigate risk and solve problems if they arise.

Required Training/Education/Experience

-Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing.
-Ability to assist in research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
-Ability to interpret and create drawings.
-Assist in key engineering projects.
-Support daily manufacturing operations.
