Vertical Solar LLC has just received a Provisional Patent, The Solar Door. This is a 21 foot high x 100 foot long door, with 195 Corrugated Metal Solar Panels. Will need to create fabrication Drawings for Vendor Pricing and Investor Requirements.Assist in the creation of a Demo Unit, including Sun Tracking Program, interacted with hydraulic controls for door position. In a fully open position, the horizontal solar door acts like a canopy, able to span over 10 parking spaces. Will be submitting proposals to DOE, DOD, and other Government Agencies.Existing Product, Solar Tent, has been updated with stronger materials, need to create drawing package for Vendor Fabrication and Pricing. Will create a second DEMO Unit. Engineering Student will learn about Aluminum Materials. Engineering Student will be involved in the design of a complete transportation package of The Solar Tent. (When the Solar Tent is disassembled it will fit into a “Suite Case” design, in which the Components will be assembled into a package that will have wheels and a handle, able to pull it behind a person like a suite case)
Will know or learn CAD Drawing Program.
