The Internship
This position will work with the Career Center and Employer Engagement Team, reporting to the Assistant Director, Industry Specialist.
Daily and/or Weekly Tasks
- Create social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to highlight employer events and roles
- Maintain communication with employers who are part of the UNC Charlotte Career Center’s Employer Partnership Program
- Create and schedule Employer Highlight weeks on Instagram
- Assist with the maintenance of our strategic virtual presence targeting employer development and management that includes networking sites and other means; as well as increasing campus branding for recruitment programs
- Provide assistance for Career Fairs and marketing managers throughout the year as needed
- Create resource tools in support of the employer engagement team’s responsibilities and needs
- Participate in employer engagement meetings along with other members of the team as needed for marketing/promotional support
- Utilize various resources to gather employer and job market information, as well as skills and competencies data for targeted industries
- Create marketing collateral using job market information for employer, faculty, staff, and student information purposes
- Design and send out employer newsletter to highlight resources available, upcoming events, etc
- Perform other administrative duties and assignments as delegated by the Assistant Director, Industry Specialist
