GA: Journal Managing Editor

The Department of Sociology is seeking a graduate student to serve as managing editor for the journal Social Psychology Quarterly. This position involves coordinating with the chief editors (Dr. Lisa Walker and Dr. Joseph Dippong) to manage the flow of manuscripts through the peer-review and publication process, from initial submission, through publication. Job duties include contacting potential peer-reviewers, handling queries from authors and reviewers, proof-reading/ editing publication proofs, managing the journal's social media presence, and heading a weekly meeting for the editorial team.
