Summary

The position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration, Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII), Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI). As FDA's criminal law enforcement and intelligence arm, OCI is responsible for protecting public health and furthering the FDA mission by investigating suspected criminal violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) and other related laws. Click here to learn more about FDA/OCI".

Duties

• Researches, analyzes, collects, and produces investigative data, studies, trends, and patterns; and identifies intelligence gaps in furtherance of criminal investigations.
• Collects information in support of investigations and develops evidence to be utilized in the prosecution of criminal cases, and/or to pursue civil remedies.
• Prepares professional reports, charts, documents, and other materials which support findings and conclusions.
• Serves as the evidence custodian gathering, processing, distributing, documenting, and ensuring custody of case evidence.
