Profile of Organization
Center 360 is a youth-focused nonprofit located in the West Blvd Corridor and Huntersville areas of Charlotte, NC. Our mission is to empower middle school students through academic and social support programs designed to help them engage positively in school and their communities.
Description of the Project
The student will help develop a volunteer recruitment and management system, including creating volunteer training materials and drafting a volunteer handbook. This will help Center 360 streamline its
volunteer program and provide clear guidelines and expectations.
Project Scope
● Design a volunteer recruitment strategy
● Create onboarding materials for new volunteers
● Draft a volunteer handbook outlining policies, expectations, and roles
● Develop communication workflows for managing volunteer inquiries and schedules
Preferred Student Demographic and Qualifications
● Major in Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field
● Excellent communication and organizational skills
● Familiarity with volunteer management or interest in learning
Hours Required for Completion
20-30 hours
Learning Experience
The student will gain experience in human resources and volunteer management, improving their ability
to create organizational systems and processes. They will also learn how to engage and manage
volunteers effectively in a nonprofit setting.

● A volunteer handbook ready for implementation
● Improved volunteer management processes
