Job Description
This staff member will routinely work with contractors and vendors for project completion and also works with Facilities Management support operations to include plumbing, HVAC, electrical and grounds efforts in Housing and Residence Life. The Associate Director oversees daily operations as it relates to work order management, purchasing, time reporting, employee relations, e. This position is responsible for overseeing general repairs, small renovations, project management, safety compliance, purchasing, scheduling of work and projects and working with contractors performing renovation and repairs in Housing and Residence Life. The Associate Director also provides training for departmental staff on a wide range of issues and is charged with assessing programs and services offered.
The Associate Director serves on the HRL Facilities Operations management team as well as the overall Housing and Residence Life management team. In this capacity, this position must be flexible as they may be asked to take on additional duties and responsibilities at any time, including committee assignments, performing training, document creation, etc. Part-Time UNC Charlotte
